Biscuit Pudding

For extra flavor, add a little cinnamon and some raisins to this biscuit pudding. 

4 leftover biscuits 
2 cups milk 
1 cup sugar 
4 eggs 
2 teaspoons butter 
1 teaspoon vanilla 

Place bread and 1 cup milk in 1 1/2-quart baking dish; soak until soft. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add butter, vanilla, and remaining milk. Bake at 350, or until custard is firm and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
