Chocolate Nut Brownies

1 Square unsweetened chocolate or 1oz no-melt unsweetened chocolate
1/2 Cup shortening
2 Tablespoon liquid sweetener
2 Teaspoon vanilla
2 Eggs beaten
1 Cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
1/4 Cup chopped nuts

Melt shortening and chocolate over low heat
Remove from heat
Add liquid sweetener vanilla and beaten eggs
Stir until well blended
Add flour and baking soda
Mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased (may spray with Pam) 8" cake pan
Bake at 325 for 20 minutes
Let stand to cool
Cut into 30 squares
