Jell-O Salad


1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jell-O 15 oz.  can crushed pineapple
2 cups hot water 1 cup mashed bananas
2 boxes frozen strawberries 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 pint sour cream


Partially thaw strawberries & set aside.  Mix Jell-o with hot water until dissolved.  Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream.  Let mixture chill, but not gel. Take out half of chilled mixture & let jell.  Spread sour cream over jelled mixture.  Spread the remaining half of Jell-O mixture over sour cream.   Chill in refrigerator for 12 hours before serving.

You may substitute your favourite fruit and related Jell-O flavour.
